The moral of the story is never use machinery when not feeling 100% lest ye wish to incure part breakage and replacement costs...
Oh well, thank the Goddess for a credit line with the dealership...
On a different note... We are scrambling to change weekend plans for yet another holiday weekend to facilitate an emergency trip for M and her parents out to see her aunt before she succumbs. It's just another dissapointment... not so much for me I understand this, but for the kids... They want mommy to watch the fireworks with them, not be away no matter how important the trip. While I am happy that they are too young to understand the loss that will soon occur, and the reason this trip is so important, I also find myself wishing them just old enough to accept an explanation of why. You can't have it both ways I know, but one can dream.
I think I will go shower and kick myself around a bit for not seeing the tree root that ate my lawn tractor's brand new mulching blade, and sundry other attached now over-stressed parts. The parts list grows...
<sigh>
