Auroras?

So once again the sun has decided to spit a CME at us. I keep hoping one will be nicely timed and large enough that I can treat my kids to a nice skyshow. Will this be the one? NOAA and NASA can't seem to get their forcasts straight, one says it's going to be a minor event, the other doom and gloom (electrical disruptions, voltage spikes, dips, burning wires, camel eating space monsters!!!) well maybe not the space monsters, but they say it can be a big hit to our electrical systems. So we err on the side of caution and unplug tongiht before it's impact, and look to see what tomorrow brings... Like I said I'm hoping for a nice light show especially now that we are out in the country and actually can see stars and sky at night.
