So we get this call at 6am from the hospital where my son is having a procedure done on him today. "We're having ari conditioniong issues so we are pushing everything back 45 minutes."
Ok. No problem, we were up getting ready to get my wife and son out the door at that point anyway. (Did I mention the hospital that the insurance plan stated is the one we must use for this is an hour and a half drive away?) So we adjust our plans, and my wife drives down to the hospital (right in the midst of morning rush hour btw,) just to get there and find the hospital has a water main break that knocked out main power, limits the AC, and has the interior at a nice comfy 80 degrees... So they are told they have to wait. Mind you the original time was 9am in the door, and then they tacked on a 45 minute wait... It's 11:30 and they just took him back to prep him...
My conficence in the day is beginning to wane somewhat....
